Can you hurt the dog or can the dog die?
You must care for your Nintendogs pet in order for it to be happy but you can't harm the Nintendog. Nintendo has made sure to make this game very friendly and the dogs can not die.

When are they coming out so we can buy them, and how much are they?
The first three USA versions of Nintendogs are going to be released on August 22, 2005. This is the official Nintendogs release date. The MSRP (manufacturer suggested retail price) is $34.99.
